Program Overview:

Khmer Mekong Law Group is a law group based in Siem Reap province, we initiated a program called the Legal Internship Program. This Program offers a comprehensive and hands-on experience for law students looking to gain valuable insights into the legal profession. This program is designed to provide interns with exposure to a wide range of legal activities, mentorship from seasoned professionals, and the opportunity to contribute to real-world legal projects. Through this internship, participants will enhance their legal skills, build a professional network, and gain a deeper understanding of the legal field.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Legal Research and Writing: Conduct legal research on various topics, draft memoranda, and assist in the preparation of legal documents.
• Case Management: Support attorneys in case management activities, including document review, case analysis, and preparation for legal proceedings.
• Client Interaction: Attend client meetings, assist in client communication, and contribute to maintaining positive client relationships.
• Courtroom Experience: Depending on the program duration, interns may have the opportunity to observe court proceedings and gain exposure to litigation processes.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with legal professionals and other interns on collaborative projects, fostering a dynamic and supportive work environment.

Who can apply?

 The Applicant must be currently living in Siem Reap province, and eligible for those below:

• 3rd or 4th-year law students
• Freshly graduated law students

Note: 1st and 2nd-year students are not eligible to apply.

Program Duration:

4 Months commencing.
